ACCOUNTING Rep
The Accounting Rep compiles and audits revenue records, control documents and prepares reports for all areas of casino operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this job class and are not all-inclusive to this position.)
- Learn and work towards becoming proficient in all gaming audits.
- Reconcile revenue or cost reported in an efficient and timely manner.
- Ensure that adequate supporting documentation exists for all transactions.
- Prepare accurate journal entries in relation to the respective audit area.
- Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may change.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission Class C license.
- Must be at least 18 Years of age.
- Previous accounting/bookkeeping preferred.
- Gaming experience preferred.
- Must possess excellent teamwork, interpersonal, customer service, and verbal communication skills.
