CASINO CONTROLLER - PENNSYLVANIA

Overview
We are seeking a Casino Controller for our casino property located in Pennsylvania. Relocation assistance is provided.

The Casino Controller is responsible for directing all aspects of casino accounting and revenue audit compliance in accordance with company policy and Federal/state regulations, including the overall care, custody, and management of casino funds, securities, and records. The Casino Controller shall administer and supervise all casino accounting functions, analyzes financial statements and submit related reports to all management staff as well as regulatory agencies, adheres to all Internal Control Policies and Procedures, as well as ensure company accounting procedures and reporting conform to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Responsibilities

• Establish department standards, guidelines and objectives and maintains other administrative processes such as budget and staffing to ensure proper planning and efficient operation of assigned areas.
• Responsible for the audits of cage, countroom, slots, table games, poker, hotel, retail, food and beverage, entertainment and other departments as required.
• Works closely with IT, Cage, Credit and Count Room departments to resolve any system problems related to the daily revenue audit and gaming systems.
• Ensures accurate tracking of information and timely filing related to all regulatory filings including gaming taxes and W-2G’s.
• Ensures timely payment of all gaming taxes and other regulatory fees.
• Prepares/reviews journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations as related to casino finance areas.
• Prepares/reviews the daily flash report
• Analyzes daily casino cash flow, forecasts sources and uses of casino cash, and initiates casino cash management activities to position property in advantageous financial position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field is required
• A minimum of 8 years' experience in the casino industry, with 5 years' experience in casino revenue audit and/or casino accounting/finance.
• Must possess an understanding of Revenue Audit, Cage, Credit and Count Room issues.
• Detailed knowledge of minimum internal controls, casino regulations, casino reporting requirements and daily casino audits is required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.

Must be able to obtain a Gaming License as required by the State Gaming Agency for the position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $125,000.00 per year
