POSITION: CNSP Force Readiness PA (CSO)
LOCATION: San Diego, CA
STATUS: Funded/Open
CLEARANCE: Active Secret or above clearance
TRAVEL: Up to 25%
DUTIES:
PA Force CSO will monitor SIPR and NIPR message traffic daily, identify and extract CNSP priority risk and updates, monitor and maintain E-CASREP database with real-time TYCOM C5I updates, research and provide outstanding part status, research and propose solutions of long lead or no part status, understand Navy’s cannibalization policy and make recommendations, assist in the coordination and expedition of distance support or FTA/OBTA from RMC’s and ISEA.
Understand Navy redlines, Strike group Interoperability and have an overall understanding of all warfare areas and designations to the extent of any loss of a particular C5I system would be able to translate to the Limitations and Capabilities (LIM/CAPs) of that unit if operating independently and/or the LIM/CAPs of the strike group. Be able to advise and brief priority ratings of any surface fleet casualty to senior leadership.
Meeting Support The contractor shall attend teleconferences, burn downs, video teleconferences (VTCs), and internal and external meetings in lieu of or in addition to the Force CSO and staff. The contractor shall document meeting minutes and prepare any necessary visual aids to support meeting requirements.
Required Skills / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
- Strong leadership, organizational, planning, communication, and time management skills, as well as the ability to multitask and work against strict deadlines, are critical.
- Strict attention to detail – must be detail-oriented. 8 years’ Experience and NAVY EMO/STO/CMMM/CDC/CSOOW onboard USN Surface ships.
