When you’re not catching zzz’s, this is what you’ll do...

This role is responsible for ensuring a robust supply chain for Casper's mattress products by effectively managing supplier relationships, overseeing production, collaborating and maintaining optimal inventory levels helping customers sleep comfortably at night.

• Manage mattress supplier relationships
• Be the face of Casper to the external suppliers
• Lead daily or weekly calls to review production output
• Review KPIs and discuss ways to improve
• Production Planning: Mattresses
• Communicate forecast and changes to suppliers
• Push for commitments and adherence to the plan
• Manage all orders to meet mattress inventory requirements
• Maintain inventory at distribution points per the demand forecast
• Create POs, monitor approvals and distribute to suppliers through the ERP
• Transfer inventory between locations to maintain balanced supply
• Work with fulfillment and allocation teams to meet customer expectations
• Coordinate logistics for inventory pickup/delivery
• Report weekly inventory level and risk
• Maintain production trackers to analyze supply projections
• Define inventory balancing requirements to meet Safety Stock goals
• Communicate to internal stakeholders CX, Sales, and Marketing on OOS or at-risk inventory
• Work Cross functionally
• Risk mitigation: Partner with quality, engineering, and sourcing teams to escalate issues at suppliers
• Partner with AP in vendor reconciliation
  

Our dream candidate has…

• 1-3 Years of Experience in supply chain management, supply planning, production planning, contract manufacturing, or similar experience
• Strong communication and relationship management skills
• Strong experience with ERP/Excel/Google Sheets/TMS
• This is a hybrid role, requiring that you work 2 days per week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) from our NYC office

Targeted Annual Base Salary Range: $75,000-85,000 USD

Casper’s compensation philosophy ensures that the actual base salary is based on factors including but not limited to skills, education, experience, special training, time in position, and/or years of service.
