RN Assistant Director of Health Services ADHS

Elim Wellspring Assisted Living, a cozy 30 unit facility located in Princeton, has a very rare opportunity for an RN, Assistant Director of Health Services (ADHS) to join our team. This is a great opportunity to grow your career! In this role, you will help the DHS lead nurses and nursing aides in providing exceptional resident care to our residents. We offer a healthy work-life balance that we believe our leaders so richly deserve. That is why we have a team of after-hours nurses who a triage calls from staff working evenings, nights and weekends! 

This is a Full-Time, benefit eligible position working 4 days a week, 8:30am to 4:30pm. No weekends or holidays! (May have to work the floor if needed)

Pay Range: $30 to $40 / hour depending on experience

Assistant Director of Health Services responsibilities: 

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care plans for residents, including every 90 days for assessments-care conferences as needed, assess a new resident for a move in.
• Recognizes and manages common geriatric syndromes common to aging adults: cardiovascular, respiratory, urinary, neurological, sensory and pain problems.
• Supervises work performed of the caregivers, oversees their block schedules, assist with scheduling, may need to work the floor as needed, and medication training of staff.
• Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Administers medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response.
• Manages medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
• Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary.
• Performs additional duties as required.

• Current Minnesota Registered Nurse license required. Current Basis Life Support, and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
• Assisted Living / Memory Care experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with a desire to be a part of a team.
