Job Overview
This position requires the ability to perform the responsibilities and duties as listed by working with the general manager, H Two Management, all park manager positions (operations, aquatics, food and beverage, cash control and maintenance) and the human resources coordinator/accounts payable position as well as other employees and vendors as needed. The purpose of this accounting position is to process budgets, maintain budget records, financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, process payroll and employee payroll records. This position is 15-25 hours per week September - March, 30 - 40 hours per week April - September.
Duties
- This position is responsible for the daily accounting operations of the park to include:
- daily deposits, as needed
- balance sheets
- daily, weekly, and year to date revenue reports
- profit and loss for the periods
- variance reports
- quarterly sales tax report
- financial reports to the City of Wichita Falls
- annual 1096 and 1099 forms
- Texas Workforce Commission reports
- Capitalized asset report to the City of Wichita Falls
- preparation of accounts payable checks
- maintaining accounts receivable records
- weekly payroll including yearly W-2 forms and quarterly 941 reports
- assist the general manager with budgets and budget reports and monthly period reports by preparing, submitting and distributing financial reports by updating financial statements, transferring budget information to actual reports, verifying all journal entries, and analyzing financial records for trends.

- interface and support staff and other departments as well as customers to the park
- regular and reliable attendance in compliance with given schedules is a mandatory requirement of this position. Schedules may be subject to change with or without advance notice.
Qualifications
The following qualifications are required for this position:
- Proficient with QuickBooks Online
- Work requires a broad knowledge in the accounting field. Knowledge is normally acquired through four years of college resulting in a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Ability to work within deadlines
- Reading – Ability to read literature, books, reviews, scientific or technical journals, abstracts, financial reports, and/or legal documents. Ordinarily, such education is obtained in at the college level or above. However, it may be obtained from experience and self-study.
- Math – Ability to apply fundamental concepts of theories, work with advanced mathematical operations methods, and functions of real and complex variables. Ordinarily, such education is obtained in at the college level or above. However, it may be obtained from experience and self-study.
- Writing – Ability to write editorials, journals, speeches, manuals, or critiques. Ordinarily, such education is obtained in at the college level or above. However, it may be obtained from experience and self-study.
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Driver’s License, class C
