Parts and Service Associate

Castaway Marina is a growing top performing marine organization that delivers exceptional experience to its customers. We are a family-owned business since 1998. We are looking for an energetic, meticulous, team-oriented person who prides themselves in doing a fantastic job. We have an immediate open position for a Parts and Service Associate.

Qualifications:

· Excellent customer service skills

· Marine experience is preferred

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

· Ability to follow established procedures

· Good computer skills and experience with parts research systems

· Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload

· Valid and clean Driver License

Responsibilities:

· Research parts and coordinate with service to prepare estimates

· Ordering parts from manufactures and aftermarket vendors

· Receiving parts

· Prepare purchase orders and submit invoices for parts received to accounting department

· Pull parts for technicians

· Add parts to repair orders

· Add notes to repair orders

· Manage parts inventory

· Shipments of parts to customers along with returns to suppliers

· Assisting customers with over-the-counter parts sales

· Cashier customers for repair orders and over-the-counter parts

· Maintain and stock the Ship’s Store and Boat Sales Showroom with applicable inventory

· Assist with submitting warranty to manufactures

· Good communications skills

· Ability to answer phones and call customers regarding repair order updates, parts orders and payments

· Must be a team player and work well with others

· May cross train to perform other duties in the service department

Schedule:

· Monday thru Friday (7:00am to 3:30pm)

· Saturdays are mandatory during spring launch, rotating Saturdays during summer (otherwise as needed)

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
