Dealership Parts Counter Person

North Country Subaru is a family owned and operated dealership that is focused on customer satisfaction and long relationships. Our Service and Parts Departments are very busy. We are looking for the right person to join our team. We need a person with automotive knowledge to assist in looking up and billing out parts.

Qualifications:

-Applicants must have experience in a closely related field. Experience in an auto dealership is a plus.
-Must have good customer relation skills, and must be able to work closely with technicians. Must have good phone and personal skills.
-Must have comprehensive knowledge of inventory management, stocking, reporting, and shipping.
-Must display responsibility, timeliness, respectfulness, and work ethic.
-Must thrive in a fast paced work environment, but can make effective use of down time.
-Must be competent with computers. Working knowledge of shop equipment is a plus.
-Automotive enthusiasm is a plus,
-Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities:

-Must be able to cooperate with management.
-Perform all of (but not limited to) the following- Parts lookup, Wholesale interaction, retail interaction, internal interaction, and more.
-Assist with-Ordering, Receiving, Returning, Inventory management
-Communicate directly with service advisers and managers
-Continuously learn new technical information and techniques
-Maintain a clean and safe work environment
-Must be available to work on Saturdays

This is a full time position. It is hourly pay with overtime when needed. That way you'll never be asked to work more than 40 hours on a set salary.
