Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
- Operate cash registers accurately, processing transactions efficiently while handling cash and credit payments.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and daily specials to provide informed recommendations to customers.
- Ensure food safety by adhering to proper food handling procedures and maintaining cleanliness in the work area.
- Assist in the preparation of food items as needed, following culinary standards and recipes.
- Perform basic math calculations for order totals and change due to customers.
- Buss tables and clean dining areas to ensure a tidy environment for patrons.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours, demonstrating effective time management skills.

Requirements
- Previous experience in a retail or café environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with retail math and basic math skills is essential for accurate transaction processing.
- Knowledge of food handling practices is a plus, particularly in a kitchen or grocery store setting.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated when necessary.
