The Role
We are looking for an experienced Lead Host with a background in Michelin-starred restaurants who understands the art of hospitality at the highest level. This role requires a poised, gracious, and detail-oriented professional who can anticipate guest needs, manage reservations with precision, and uphold an uncompromising standard of service.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Relations: Create a warm, welcoming, and seamless arrival experience for every guest, ensuring their first and last impression is exceptional.
- Reservations & Seating: Manage Resy with accuracy, optimizing seating arrangements for flow, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
- Service Coordination: Communicate seamlessly with the floor team to ensure smooth service transitions and accommodate VIPs and special requests.
- Hospitality Leadership: Train and mentor the host team to uphold a Michelin-level standard of hospitality, fostering a service-driven culture.
- Professionalism & Poise: Maintain a polished and composed demeanor under pressure, ensuring that even the busiest nights run effortlessly.
- Experience in a Michelin-starred or highly acclaimed fine dining restaurant is required.
- A natural warmth and ability to make guests feel genuinely valued.
- Strong command of Resy or similar reservation platforms.
- A deep understanding of hospitality as an art form—beyond just managing reservations, this role is about curating experiences.
- Ability to gracefully handle high-volume and high-expectation environments.
- Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends.
