YOUR OPPORTUNITY:
Our Maintenance Technicians are key members of the production team, ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. In addition to preventative maintenance and general mechanical troubleshooting, you have the opportunity to be part of state-of-the-art engineering projects!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Effectively complete preventive maintenance to prevent breakdowns on equipment.
- Perform equipment change-overs and production line set ups
- Provide immediate and corrective maintenance support to production team.
- Investigate breakdowns and line stoppages.
- Communicate any reoccurring issues to production management.
- Operate newly repaired machinery or equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.
- Overhaul and install new equipment
- Upgrade equipment by engineering and fabricating parts.
- Maintain parts inventory and request parts as needed
- Complete work orders as assigned
- Perform facility maintenance and maintain clean and safe work area
- Prioritize work to ensure timely maintenance, repair and installation of equipment, and utility systems to minimize manufacturing downtime and complete all required paperwork and documentation.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 1 year of maintenance experience (required)
- Previous experience within industrial environment
- Previous experience with troubleshooting and repairing electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyor systems and PLC (preferred)
- Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude
- Ability to follow manufacturers' specifications and schematics
- Must know 480v 3 phase troubleshooting
- GED/High School diploma (preferred)
- Read and write the English language
- Ability to work in varied environmental conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc.
- Physically able to bend, reach and climb stairs.
- Ability to work any shift and daily/weekly overtime hours as needed
- Must be able to lift at least 60 pounds
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week
