Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our educational team. The Early Childhood Teacher will work closely with toddlers and preschool-aged children in a private school or daycare setting, ensuring their developmental needs are met through effective behavior management and communication.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, and physical education activities.
- Foster a safe and supportive classroom environment that encourages positive behavior management.
- Engage with children in various activities to promote their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns.
- Monitor children's health and safety while providing care and supervision during playtime and learning activities.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the curriculum and share best practices in early childhood education.
- Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and any incidents that may occur.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
- Experience working in a private school or daycare setting is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of child welfare principles and behavior management techniques.
- Ability to plan engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Passion for working with young children and fostering their growth in a nurturing environment.
- Familiarity with toddler care practices is an advantage.
