Position Overview:
The Practice Tee Attendant is expected to assist the professional staff in every aspect of the total golf operation and golf experience. This position will include responsibilities in the golf operation pertaining directly to the practice tee with support to the Outside Operations. This position will also assist in coordinating daily play on the practice tee with the Practice Tee Manager as well as monitoring pace of play daily. This is a 6-month Seasonal position. The Practice Tee Attendant will work closely with the Head Golf Professional, First Assistant Golf Professional, General Manager, all golf operations staff and other Club Department Heads and their teams.
Position Responsibilities:
- Help to oversee all areas of the golf operation to ensure expectations and standards are being met.
- Monitor the practice tee daily and provide support as needed.
- Assist in the coordination of play daily.
- Help set the que of play for morning and afternoon.
- Remain in constant communication with professional staff with groups arriving and departing the practice tee.
- Provide support in maintaining a constant presence on the practice tee to organize the following:
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of the Practice Tee daily.
- Hitting stations are neat and orderly.
- Golf balls are adequately stocked and presentable.
- Practice tee supplies are adequately stocked and presentable.
- Monitor and work with professional staff on re-orders of supplies.
- Upholding the appearance standard of the range daily.
- Communicate and provide any services needed for the Director of Instruction.
- Aid with all golfing calendar events.
- Assist with golf club repair.
- Communicate regularly with the Head Professional, Assistant Professionals, Director of Instruction, Merchandiser, Outside Operations Staff, Valet, Practice Tee, Dining Room Staff, Food and Beverage Manager, Reservations and Housekeeping regarding daily operations and special events.
- Develop creative ways of improving any part of the golf operation.
- Aid the Head Golf Professional in every phase of the golf operation.
- Spread hospitality and goodwill to all Members, guests, and staff.
