Front Desk Coordinator / Administrative Assistant
Are you looking for a fulfilling role where you can make a difference in the lives of older adults? The Castle Rock Senior Activity Center (CRSAC) is seeking a dedicated Front Desk Coordinator / Administrative Assistant to be the welcoming face and voice of our organization.
About Us
The Castle Rock Senior Activity Center (CRSAC) is a vibrant non-profit organization that has been enriching the lives of older adults for over 54 years. With 1,300 members and 160 monthly activities, we provide a dynamic environment where seniors can stay engaged, active, and connected. Our offerings include served meals, group outings, cultural excursions, sports leagues, special interest groups, and educational classes. Additionally, we operate a transportation service for local seniors.
Please note: CRSAC is not a care or medical facility.
Position Overview
As the Front Desk Coordinator / Administrative Assistant, you will serve as the first point of contact for members, visitors, and callers. This full-time, salaried position requires a professional, personable, and highly organized individual to ensure the smooth operation of our front desk and administrative functions.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:45 AM - 4:45 PM
Salary: $42,000 - $45,000 per year, DOE/Q

Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist members, visitors, and callers with professionalism and warmth
- Answer and direct phone calls, manage multi-line telephone systems
- Facilitate activity sign-ups, cancellations, and transportation requests
- Maintain an organized and welcoming reception area
- Perform data entry, reporting, and administrative support tasks
- Provide hospitality services for members and guests
- Work collaboratively with staff to ensure a high-quality experience for all members
- Adapt to evolving needs and challenges in a fast-paced, community-oriented setting
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills – friendly, professional, and welcoming
- Organized with excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Experience with multi-line phone systems
- Data entry experience (preferred, but not required)
- Previous office or receptionist experience (required)
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Minimum education: Associate’s Degree
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring fine motor skills and basic physical mobility
- Ability to engage in conversations in person and over the phone
- Visual ability to read materials and assess situations near and far
- Mobility to move throughout the Senior Center and assist as needed

- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and handle unexpected challenges
- Adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
- Strong problem-solving skills for handling a variety of situations
