The Pre-Admissions Registered Nurse conducts thorough nursing assessments to ensure patients are optimally prepared for surgery. They provide clear explanations of planned treatment, post-operative care instructions, and address any patient questions or concerns.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care using the nursing process, adhering to applicable scope and standards of practice.
- Evaluate learning needs of patients and families, providing education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
Requirements
- Valid Utah state nursing license or compact state license.
- BLS certification within 60 days of hire.
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
- PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
