What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts/Warehouse Associate position at Casto Technical Services?
Casto Technical Services is a locally owned and operated, family business with over 50 years of experience serving building owners and operators.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITES
- Practice excellent Safety procedures
- Supply Technicians with the proper parts and tools needed and truck stock
- Order and purchase all new parts
- Accept deliveries from vendors and properly enter/count in inventory
- Work with vendors on successfully planning and purchasing parts, proper lead times to meet demands, and replenishment
- Ensure all warranty parts are returned to vendor/supplier with appropriate documentation and credit is received
- Operate Fork Truck
WAREHOUSE - ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and use forklift
- Organize and stage Warehouse
- Load and unload shipment of parts, supplies, and equipment as needed
- Check-in stock and verify against vendor documents
- Enter receipts for verified stock in company computer system
- Put up received stock in warehouses and showrooms
- Report any equipment discrepancies to the Parts Associates
- Package and ship hazardous materials per DOT regulations
- Resolve problems to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction and adherence to company policies
- Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned
QUALIFICATIONS - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- HVAC Parts experience preferred
- HVAC terminology preferred
- Computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook
- Excellent written/oral communication skills
- Self-motivated and highly organized
- Must be Dependable and arrive on time as scheduled
- Valid Driver's License
