Serving as the first person that our employees, candidates, clients, and visitors engage with at our Old Town Alexandria office location, this high visibility role is a great fit for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys interacting with people and has a bias for action. What You Will Do In This Role
- Serve as the front desk point of contact for employees and guests, ensuring interactions are handled with friendliness and professionalism.
- Proactively anticipate office needs and take the initiative to address them to ensure office and workspaces are always presentable and ready for our employees and clients.
- Efficiently execute daily office duties. These include but are not limited to handling mail and packages, managing employee building access and parking, overseeing employee hoteling, etc.).
- Ensure the office is always organized, well-stocked, and running efficiently.
- Quickly identify and resolve administrative issues, ensuring minimal disruption to office operations as needed.
- Assist with business practices with administrative matters. Duties include but are not limited to preparation of reports, presentations, correspondence, and professional membership enrollment.
- Facilitate quarterly office maintenance scheduling and appointments.
- Serve as point of contact for all facilities vendors.
- Execute other office and administrative duties as requested.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Two or more years (2 ) of office experience.
- Intermediate or higher levels of experience in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe PDF.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work and interact with members of the Executive Leadership Team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with employees, clients, and executives.
