Job Summary
The job of Computer Operations Technician is done for the purpose / s of installing, upgrading, and configuring workstations within the district; providing support for site computers and related equipment; resolving software and hardware problems; and providing recommendations for software, hardware, and peripheral purchases.

Requirements / Qualifications
Experience : Job-related experience is required.
Education : Targeted, job-related education with study in job-related area.
Equivalency : Completion of at least one year of approved college / university level coursework in computer and network operations. Associate Degree is preferred. Two years of computer-related experience with increasing levels of responsibility in technical repair, troubleshooting, software installations, and problem-solving may be substituted for education.
