The Inventory Specialist – Vendor Managed is responsible for managing and replenishing inventory at our customer distribution centers. This position will become familiar with customer’s organization, product needs, processes, and procedures.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Responsible for ordering, tracking, replenishing, and reporting correct inventory levels for customer inventory.
- Collect sales data and manage weekly reports to track and improve key performance metrics.
- Accurate forecasting of sales data that is reported to customers to ensure product availability for upcoming orders.
- Report all potential inventory issues as they arise.
- Identify timely, efficient, and cost-effective strategies for servicing customer inventory needs.
- Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with customer contacts.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Associates’ degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Proficient daily problem solving and organizational skills. - Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Inventory software; Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint and report writing applications, including but not limited to Cognos, Crystal Reports, and/or Tableau.
