The Warranty Admin I researches and processes warranty claims to recover money spent repairing defects in Caterpillar and allied manufacturers.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Analyze warranty work orders and verify warranty coverage.
- Communicate with other departments about any major changes needing to be made to work orders and any irregularities present.
- Research and process warranty claims to Caterpillar and other suppliers (AGM, AGCO, Load King, etc).
- Manages approx. $300, 000 to $400,000 in claims per year. Average claim is $800.00 with 400- 450 claims per year.
- Monitor and assist in solving any discrepancies with PRR’s (Parts Return Request).
- Administer claims including accepting settlements, resubmitting claims as necessary, monitoring open claims with Caterpillar.
- Develop rapport with CAT and OEM personnel.
- Maintain Recovery Percentage goals.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and three (3) years related CAT warranty experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Extensive experience with Caterpillar products is required.
- Must have previous experience in product support with technical expertise of mechanical and labor time requirements guide.
- Must have mechanical and labor time requirements experience for multiple OEM’s (AGM, AGCO, Load King, etc).
- Must have completed CAT DLMS warranty training modules.

Employee will work both inside and outside with a moderate noise level. Employee will perform tasks while experiencing numerous interruptions. Hours are normally first shift, but weekend, holiday and evening work may be required. Every effort will be made to schedule overtime in advance and in a fair manner. Overtime is considered a job requirement, and you are expected to work reasonable amounts of overtime according to your department's needs.
Required travel up to 10%.
