Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a willingness to learn various landscaping techniques. This role involves physical labor and requires the ability to work in various weather conditions. The Landscape Laborer will assist in maintaining and enhancing the aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial properties.
Duties
- Perform tasks related to lawn care, including mowing, edging, and fertilizing.
- Dig holes for planting trees, shrubs, and flowers.
- Operate power tools and equipment safely, such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and blowers.
- Assist with tree care activities including tree trimming and pruning.
- Concrete demolition & installation concrete and paver patios & walkways as well as retaining walls.
- Maintain grounds by removing debris, weeds, and other obstacles.
- Participate in snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access to properties.
- Collaborate with team members to complete landscape projects efficiently.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge for operating various landscaping equipment effectively.
- Proficiency in using power tools safely and efficiently.
- Experience in tree care practices including trimming and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of lawn care techniques and best practices.
- Ability to irrigate landscapes properly for optimal plant health.
- Familiarity with general landscaping principles and practices.
- Experience in groundskeeping tasks to maintain property aesthetics.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to landscaping and maintenance.

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
