Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Associate Attorney, based in Jericho, NY with some work-from-home flexibility. The Associate Attorney will manage case assignments, conduct legal research, provide sound legal advice, and represent clients in various legal proceedings. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and drafting legal documents, negotiating settlements, and defending clients in court. Collaboration with senior attorneys and maintaining client communication is expected.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in various domains of Law, including Labor and Employment Law
- Strong skills in Legal Advice and Negotiation
- Advanced Research skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to handle a diverse caseload independently and effectively
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to the New York State Bar
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred
