What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medication Technician/Caregiver position at Cataldo Community Residential?

As a medication technician, you will be:
- Assisting up to 30 residents with daily medications within the designated timeframes
- Documenting, ordering, and inputting medications into med management software program
- Communicating directly with the nursing team regarding any medication issues or refusals
- Packing medications for residents leaving the facility
- Performing medication counts and the beginning and end of each shift
- Engaging and socializing with residents in a appropriate, respectful, and patient manner while maintaining professional boundaries

What we require for Medication technicians:
- Open Availability Required - at least one weekend day
- Current CNA, HCA, or NAR (with 2011 exemption letter) license
- Nurse Delegations: Core & Diabetic
- Dementia, Mental Health, and Developmental Disability Specialty Training
- Current CPR, First Aid, Blood-borne Pathogens Training
- Medication Assistant License Preferred
- Must be able to pass Washington State Criminal Background Check

Pay: $19.50 - $22.50 per hour
