JOB SUMMARY
As a FOH Supervisor, you are responsible for overseeing daily operations, including staff scheduling, guest service, and quality control, while collaborating closely with the F&B and BOH leadership team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Job duties include, although are not limited to:

 

  • Support the F&B management with their responsibility for the outlet, ensuring sales are maximized, margin and profit targets are achieved, and statutory requirements are met
  • Manage front of house employees (train, supervise, coach, and motivate the team). Provide leadership and direction to team members to ensure efficient operations.
  • Work with team members to maintain high quality standards and deliver exceptional service consistently
  • Resolve guest concerns and implement solutions to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Oversee and ensure cleanliness in accordance with state and local regulations.
  • Plan and execute special events and group functions.
  • Maintain safe working conditions and ensure safe work practices are followed to avoid accidents/ injuries.
  • Ensure health and safety policies are adhered to at all times.
  • Monitor inventory levels, restaurant equipment, and other supplies as needed.
  • Optimize profits by controlling food, beverage, and labor costs.
  • Manage and develop labor force schedules and assign work with maximum efficiency.
  • Assist with timekeeping system.
  • Assist the General Manager with completing daily and weekly reports.
  • Participate in regular food tastings in conjunction with the General Manager and the Culinary team to ensure that food standards are consistently met.

Position Type:  Seasonal
Season Dates: May- Mid October

 

PAY TRANSPARENCY

The pay scale for this position ranges between $23.00-25.00  per hour depending on the work location.  The pay is the hourly rate

 

The total compensation package is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience and education or training. 

SCHEDULE

This position requires a flexible schedule with shifts that consist of a rotating schedule of weekday and weekends shifts, including day, night, and holiday work hours.

Qualifications


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • California Food handler Certificate
  • RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) Certificate
  • Strong passion for hospitality excellence
  •  Strong knowledge of restaurant procedures and software programs
  • Basic knowledge of budget management and cost controls
  • Strong administration and management skills, have the ability to sell and train colleagues, very hands on and supportive in achieving common team goals
  • Well versed in financial aspects and have working knowledge of Micros- Point of Sale system or similar
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional service
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Mathematically able to add, subtract, divide, and multiply
  • Exceptional cash handling skills

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT/ PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Our workplace is clean, lighted and ventilated with proper safety compliance.  Noise levels are considered medium and daily physical activities are considered moderate.  Employees must have the stamina to work long hours if assigned.  Hours and days of work may vary by position.  Most work tasks are performed indoors and outdoors. Temperature is moderate and controlled by hotel environmental systems. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks. Must be physically able to lift and carry heavy trays and equipment as well as delicate china and glassware.  Up to 50 lbs. Also, you must be physically able to walk without assistance on various surfaces for an extended period of time. This position requires manual dexterity, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, and climbing.
