SHORT DESCRIPTION
The inventory control specialist role is responsible for assisting the Inventory Control Analysts, in collaboration with the Shipping & Receiving Coordinator and the Supply Chain Team, in resolving any supply chain and/or inventory control related issues while also helping to ensure that any disruptions to the supply chain or our Warehouse Management System (NetSuite) are mitigated in a timely manner.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The inventory control specialist will be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who will be responsible for overseeing our management of inventory levels effectively and optimize inventory processes to ensure efficient operations and minimize costs. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in inventory management, strong leadership skills, and the ability to optimize warehouse processes to ensure efficient operations. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining accurate inventory records, minimizing costs, and maximizing productivity.
Preferred candidates will have excellent work ethics, will be well-experienced working in the inventory control industry, and will display exemplary communication skills with a powerful desire to grow and succeed within the company.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies in inventory records to maintain accuracy.
- Help to calculate daily yield loss and work as part of a cross functional team to determine the root cause of any issues.
- Ensure all work orders are built for the current production needs.
- Ensure all production labels are printed for the current production orders.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving inventory management processes and reducing costs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor and analyze area key performance indicators.
- Implement best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve inventory management processes.
- All other job tasks assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong understanding of supply chain and inventory management systems.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control principles, techniques, and best practices.
- Ability to analyze data and generate reports on inventory levels, variances, and trends.
- Excellent organizational & communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Must be able to work with limited supervision.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Suite.
- Experience with RF Smart.
- Experience with NetSuite.

SCHEDULE
- Monday through Friday, 6 AM to 2:30 PM.
- Management will communicate any overtime hours within 24 hours at minimum, in advance, and as needed.
