Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Dental Implant Lab Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both traditional and digital implant workflows, coupled with excellent case management and organizational skills. This individual will collaborate closely with the doctor to treatment plan complex implant cases, ensuring optimal results and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implant Restoration Fabrication: Design and fabricate implant-supported prosthetics, including single crowns, implant bridges, and full arch restorations.
- Customization & Precision: Work with advanced materials (zirconia, titanium, PEEK, acrylics, etc.) to ensure custom, precise, and durable restorations for implant patients.
- Implant System Knowledge: Be proficient in various implant systems (e.g., Straumann, Nobel Biocare, Zimmer Biomet, etc.) and ensure restorations are compatible with these systems.
- Collaborate with Dentists: Communicate regularly with dental professionals to understand their needs and the requirements for each case. Provide expert advice on implant restoration techniques and material selection.
- Quality Control: Ensure all restorations meet the highest standards of accuracy, aesthetics, and functionality before delivery to clients.
- Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Address and resolve issues related to fit, occlusion, and aesthetics to ensure successful outcomes.
- Maintain Records: Keep detailed, organized records of each case, including materials used, techniques employed, and patient-specific requirements.
- Training and Mentoring: Support and train junior technicians in implant restoration processes and help improve team skills and knowledge.
- Stay Current: Keep up to date with the latest advancements in implant dentistry, materials, and technology to continually improve production methods and the quality of restorations.
