The Opportunity
As Accounts Payable Manager at Catalis, you will be responsible for leading the Accounts Payable team. The ideal candidate will have thorough knowledge of the Accounts Payable process from PO creation to payments. As an Accounts Payable Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payment processing, and vendor maintenance, as well as providing excellent customer service. This role will report directly to the Senior Director of Accounting.
The role is hybrid and located in Alpharetta, Georgia.
What you Will do
- Oversee and manage the full-cycle accounts payable process, including monitoring the accuracy and timeliness of invoice processing, coding, payment disbursements, and vendor maintenance.
- Onboard, coach and mentor AP team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, addressing any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and automation within the AP function.
- Lead month-end close activities related to AP processes.
- Work with external auditors related to AP processes.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed to support decision-making across the organization.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounts payable issues as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant internal controls and accounting policies.
- Lead the annual preparation and filing of 1099s, ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations.
