The Legal Intern will be responsible for supporting projects within the Company’s Legal department.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in third-party contract negotiations (e.g. vendors, customers, non-disclosure agreements with prospective customers, etc.) and review proposed changes to agreements as needed.
- Conduct legal research on topics of interest to the business.
- Contribute to enterprise risk-assessment and risk mitigation activities.
- Review and edit company policy documents.
- Advise internal clients on legal and compliance issues.
- Propose and deliver a legal and compliance request-intake solution.
- Other projects in the Legal, Risk and Compliance department, as assigned.
Requirements:
- Will have completed at least one year of law school by the internship start date.
- Microsoft office skills are required. General office environment.
- Candidates should have an interest in business law or technology law and an interest in working in an in-house legal department.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with a diverse group of people and roles inside the Company.
