Catalyst Campus for Technology & Innovation is strategically headquartered in Colorado, a state that houses over 500 aerospace and defense companies and is nestled in Colorado Springs, a community with five military installations, small-to-large sized defense companies, agile startups and entrepreneurs. We have begun a national expansion with new locations opened in Maryland and Utah with several others planned in the coming years. POSITION SUMMARY
The Catalyst Accelerator Marketing and Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for planning for and executing the logistical details for the Catalyst Accelerator-Colorado Springs. These tasks will include writing reports, blogs, press releases, managing event logistics, the CRM, video editing, and more.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Duties relative to the Catalyst Accelerator—Colorado Springs
. Content writing
o Reports
o Blog posts
o Press releases
o Surveys
o Alumni newsletters
· Marketing Assistance
o CRM management
o Application platform build-out
o Take pictures of Acc cohort and events
o Simple video editing
o Assist with updating the website
o Promotional item procurement
· Event logistics
o Catering
o Shopping for supplies
o Cohort calendar maintenance
o Learn technologies needed for the Accelerator
o Set up and tear down before and after events (may require outside of 8am-5pm hours)[KG1]
o May need to lift up to 25 pound items
· Recruitment of cohort companies
· Facilitate collaboration within ecosystem
· Networking and speaking engagements
· Other duties
o Assist team in successful planning and execution of the Accelerator’s tasks and objectives
o Actively participate in team brainstorming and planning activities
o Operate within the Accelerator’s key values—respect, honesty/integrity, accountability, courage, passion, community, initiative, creativity, and excellence

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
· BS in Marketing, Business Administration or Management, Commuications, or other related discipline preferred
· 2 years of experience, or demonstrated knowledge of requirements for the position preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
General
· Experienced in project or event coordination—budget, activity management, scheduling, writing reports – preferred
· Organized, diplomatic, excellent communicator both verbally and written, outgoing, detail-oriented, dedicated, reliable, forward leaning, strategic thinking, leader in marketing initiatives, able to handle a fast-paced environment and solve problems both independently or as part of a team
· Efficiency in social media platforms, marketing technology, MS Office, the Abode suite tools or other graphic design software
· Experienced working with Government and Air Force customers is preferred.
Reasoning
· Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form.
· Ability to follow-through day-to-day activities with minimal to no oversight and navigate competing opinions objectively.
Language and Interpersonal Skills
· Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
· Ability to effectively present information to management and groups of 5 to 15 people.

COMPENSATION
We value our employees’ time and efforts. Our commitment to your success is enhanced by our competitive annual compensation of $57,000 to $62,000 dependent upon experience.
