The Work Itself
A detail-oriented and highly organized Paralegal whose role is crucial in supporting our contract management, vendor management, and compliance department with various tasks to ensure compliance and efficiency. As the in-house Paralegal, the staff member will be responsible for assisting with a wide range of legal and administrative tasks, including, but not limited to: manually sorting through legal requests, and when necessary, direct each request to the appropriate outside lawyer; contract negotiation assistance to executives; working with outside legal firms; ensuring contracts are in compliance with relevant laws and regulations; and facilitating effective communication across various departments and stakeholders.
This position requires a strong understanding of legal terminology, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Handling sensitive corporate information also requires this position to adhere to Catalyst confidentiality and ethics policies and standards. This position does have to drive on-site for various network task as needed.

The Talent You Bring
The Essentials
- Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Paralegal certification from an accredited program
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in a banking or financial services environment
- Strong understanding of legal terminology, principles, and procedures.
- Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality
- 5 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in a banking or financial services environment
- Strong knowledge of Dock365 | Contract Lifecycle Management software
- Proven success in the automation of routine tasks, such as document review, filing, and compliance checks
