A leading global investment bank is looking for a highly experienced Senior Vice President to join their M&A advisory team in New York. This role offers exposure to high-profile transactions across technology, healthcare, and financial services sectors, with an opportunity to lead and manage teams on key transactions and play a significant role in the firm’s strategic direction.
Core Responsibilities :
Lead and manage the execution of M&A transactions, capital markets deals, and strategic advisory services.
Supervise junior team members and provide guidance on financial modelling, deal execution, and client management.
Manage senior client relationships and work closely with top executives to drive deal strategy.
Structure, negotiate, and close complex deals, ensuring value creation for clients.
Lead the preparation of presentations and pitch materials for clients and prospects.
Develop and execute strategies for business development and market growth.
Qualifications :
At least 8-10 years of experience in investment banking, with a strong background in M&A, capital markets, and strategic advisory.
A degree in finance, business, or economics from a prestigious university.
CFA, ACA, or CPA (or equivalent) preferred.
Extensive experience in managing teams, client relationships, and complex deal structures.
Proven track record of successful transactions, particularly in the technology, healthcare, or financial services sectors.
Deep understanding of financial modelling, valuation techniques, and market dynamics.
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while managing multiple priorities.
