Catalyst is looking to hire a Sourcing Specialist for a global medical device manufacturing company at their US corporate HQ in the Greater NYC area. The incumbent will support the sourcing and procurement of Indirect Materials entities across the US. The role is based in White Plains, NY with the expectation that you are onsite Tues-Thurs. Here’s what you’ll do:
- Create and implement category strategies to optimize costs and drive efficiency.
- Lead supplier negotiations and selection to meet quality, service, and cost objectives.
- Conduct data analysis to identify cost reduction opportunities and optimize procurement processes.
- Categories managed: Travel, Office Supplies, Maintenance, Marketing, Staffing, and Expenses.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in strategic sourcing and/or procurement.
- Experience managing indirect procurement categories.
- Proactive mindset, with strong analytical, data analysis, and reporting skills.
