Job Description
The Patient Services Representative is responsible for patient registration and check-in as well as clinical support duties in a part-time position working 2 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients within a reasonable time frame and obtain demographic and billing information for accurate billing procedures.
- Photocopy insurance cards, collect signatures, and check patients in.
- Answer phones promptly and schedule appointments.
- Review Provider schedules daily to ensure efficient operations.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow written protocols for releasing patient information.
- Participate in patient-centered healthcare delivery.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Customer service experience with telephone skills and Windows computer proficiency.
- Working knowledge of clinical front desk procedures preferred.
