We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lead Maintenance professional to oversee and coordinate maintenance activities within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively. This role is crucial in ensuring that all equipment and systems operate efficiently, contributing to the overall functionality of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Perform residential painting, welding, fabrication, and electrical work as needed.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, including logic controllers and schematics.
- Train and mentor maintenance staff on best practices and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure minimal disruption during maintenance work.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.
Experience
- Proven experience in a maintenance role with a focus on mechanical knowledge.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance tasks.
- Skills in residential painting, welding, fabrication, electrical repairs, and understanding of logic controllers.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
