We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to support the daily operations of our residential properties. The ideal candidate will assist in managing property maintenance, tenant relations, and administrative tasks while ensuring compliance with relevant housing regulations. This role is essential in maintaining a positive living environment for residents and enhancing property value.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Property Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the property.
- Manage tenant inquiries and concerns, fostering strong customer relationships.
- Coordinate property maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant files, including lease agreements and legal documentation related to LIHTC and Section 8 programs.
- Utilize property management software such as OneSite for tracking tenant information and rent payments.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
- Support marketing efforts by upselling available units and promoting community events.
- Assist in preparing reports related to occupancy rates, maintenance requests, and financial performance.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with LIHTC regulations and Section 8 housing programs is a plus.
- Proficient in administrative tasks with strong organizational skills.
- Experience with legal administrative tasks, including document filing and compliance management.
- Knowledge of property maintenance procedures and best practices.
- Strong customer relationship management skills to effectively engage with tenants.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
