What are the responsibilities and job description for the Talent Specialist position at Catalyst Partners?
We are currently working with a leading Private Equity firm to hire a dynamic and experienced Talent Professional in their Chicago office.
This individual will be instrumental in driving their recruiting and talent acquisition efforts, managing onboarding processes, and fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of owning processes from start to finish and be willing to engage in both strategic and administrative tasks. This role requires a confident individual who can effectively articulate and present to senior leaders, manage recruiting relationships, and think creatively about talent acquisition and diversity initiatives
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruiting and Talent Acquisition: You will collaborate with internal functions to build out yearly hiring forecasts based on market trends and business needs. You will also manage the Investment Associate recruiting program for both the equity and credit strategies, and work to oversee partnerships with external recruiting agencies.
- Program Development and Management: You will manage the internship program for the firm, leading the charge on the recruitment, onboarding, and program management.
- Onboarding and General HR: You will work to provide a seamless onboarding experience, as well as manage Training programs.
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI): You will manage the relationships the firm has with specific DEI partnerships, as well as all internal initiatives relating to DEI.
- Data Analytics and Reporting across the firm.

- Proven experience in talent management, recruiting, and HR within a fast-paced environment..

Salary : $140,000 - $175,000
