You'll play a vital role in shaping requirements, managing project deliverables, facilitating business process analysis, and ensuring milestones are hit on time and within budget. This role requires excellent communication, negotiation, and project leadership skills, especially in a public sector setting.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale, complex IT projects across all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with development standards, security policies, and functional/technical needs.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
- Oversee vendor performance and contract deliverables.
- Manage project budget, timeline, and resource planning.
- Facilitate and document business process mapping and reengineering.
- Draft system requirements, RFOs, and statements of work.
- Monitor risks, suggest preventive and corrective actions.
- Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders.
- Ensure quality and timely delivery of work products.
- 8 years of experience managing complex technology projects.
- 8 years of experience with business analysis and documentation.
- 5 years drafting solicitations (e.g., RFOs, SOWs).
- 5 years collaborating across geographically dispersed teams.
- Deep knowledge of structured project lifecycle methodologies.
- Expertise in scope control, estimation, and risk management.
- Strong skills in analyzing business processes and system requirements.
- Experience with the Texas Project Delivery Framework and Public Sector environments.
- Experience implementing or supporting Salesforce.
- Familiarity with public sector procurement and governance models.
