DESCRIPTION: Coordinator, PROFESSIONAL LEARNING (REMOTE)
Catapult Learning is searching for a part-time Coordinator, Professional Learning, to join the
Academics team. The ideal candidate is a passionate educator who can support the design and implementation of professional learning. The Coordinator, Professional Learning will support
the design, development, and implementation of large-and-small scale professional learning
project. This position will report to the Manager, Professional Learning and Communication.
Remote candidates are encouraged to apply. This is a part-time position (up to 25 hours per
week).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Online Learning Management System
Execute FullBloom’s online course development process including:
- Collaborate with subject matter experts in the timely planning, design, development, and revision of online learning courses.
- Monitor LMS content development projects, including creation, editing, and revision of high-quality web-based professional development products
- Coordinate with LMS IT Support team to ensure the system and courses run efficiently and effectively.
- Implement and monitor a set of best practices for online learning products.
- Modify existing PD content into SCORM-compliant online course modules.
Other Professional Development & Communications Support
Support the Academics Team’s professional development process including:
- Develop and co-facilitate trainings, workshops, and webinars for a variety of audiences.
- Review and finalize turnkey professional development packages for field leaders to implement.
- Participate in the dissemination of content and information to all stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree AND at least three (3) years of experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of adult and e-learning theories
- Proven record of developing and delivering high-quality professional learning to adults
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills in both in-person and digital workspaces
- Superior written and oral communication skills, including strong organizational, time, and management skills with the ability to multi-task
- Well-versed and experienced in learning management systems and authoring tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; comfortable with Internet-based tools, video, audio, and other essentials for generating multi-dimensional content
- SCORM or content authoring tools experience preferred
