- Partner with school leadership and teachers to identify instructional needs and priorities in mathematics.
- Engage in a collaborative coaching cycle with teachers, including goal setting, planning, modeling, co-teaching, and reflection.
- Facilitate professional development sessions, workshops, and PLC meetings focused on best practices in math instruction.
- Support teachers in analyzing student performance data to inform instructional decisions and goal setting.
- Develop and implement individualized coaching plans aligned with district, school, and teacher goals. ·
- Maintain accurate coaching logs, documentation, and reports as required by Catapult Learning and partner schools. ·
- Participate in regular team meetings and ongoing professional learning opportunities.
- Provide full-time support across 3 campuses

What we’ll need from you:
The positive, enthusiastic assistant teacher we seek has these qualifications.
- Bachelor's degree in education, Mathematics, or a related field (master's preferred).
- Valid Mississippi teaching certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of successful classroom teaching experience in mathematics (elementary, middle, or high school level).
- Prior instructional coaching or teacher leadership experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of math content standards (Mississippi College- and Career-Readiness Standards for Mathematics).
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel between partner schools within the region.
