Job Description
The MSP Salesperson / Account Executive will be responsible for driving new business and expanding existing accounts within the IT services sector. This role involves selling managed services and solutions to businesses of all sizes, focusing on prospecting new clients, developing relationships, and closing sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong "hunter" mindset, with experience in MSP sales, and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
In this role, you will be expected to manage the sales cycle from lead generation to closing, working with clients to understand their needs and offer tailored MSP solutions. You will also be responsible for maintaining ongoing relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction, and identifying new opportunities for growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities in need of MSP solutions.
- Present and sell customized managed services, including cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and network management.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation through to closing deals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Provide ongoing account management, ensuring client satisfaction and identifying opportunities for account expansion.
- Work closely with internal teams to deliver high-quality service and meet client expectations.
- Maintain an up-to-date pipeline of prospects and opportunities in CRM systems.
- Meet or exceed sales targets to drive company growth.
- Prepare and deliver tailored proposals and presentations to potential clients.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and market shifts to adjust sales strategies as necessary.
