What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Office Clerk/Receptionist position at Catawba Pediatric Associates, PA?
Busy Pediatric Office awaiting the right person to join our team. We are currently looking for someone with the following:

· Ability to interact tactfully and effectively with patients, parents/family members, staff members, and Physicians
· Bi-lingual in Spanish or Hmong a plus
Job Responsibilities:
· Must handle all patient information in a confidential manner
· Greets and registers patients in a timely, pleasant and helpful manner
· Check-in and Check-out, to include verification of demographic and insurance information, updating Electronic Medical Records
· Schedules, coordinates, and reschedules patient appointments
· Collection of co-pays and balances
· Answers telephone, screens calls, takes messages in a professional manner
· Enter patient on the patient portal
· Scan documents and index into Electronic Medical Record system
· Other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Qualifications
· Full time with rotating weekend schedule
· High School Graduate or GED equivalent, Associates degree or Certified Medical Assistant preferred
· 2-4 years’ experience as a front desk receptionist in a medical office
· Ability to interact tactfully and effectively with patients, parents/family members, staff members, and Physicians
· Excellent Customer service and communication skills
· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at a time
· Basic computer experience, Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills
· Allscripts and Phreesia experience a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
