Catawba Valley Staffing Inc. in Morganton, is seeking a highly self-motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team for an Automotive Manufacturing Company locate right here in Morganton, NC!

Job Summary:
The Mechanical Assembler will operate assembly stations as directed and perform assembly according to operator instructions and critical visual inspection requirements. Including load/unload and scan/pack units. Operate specific mechanical tools for both part assembly and tear down.
Job Responsibilities:
- Stage
**“work in process” in assigned location.**
- Operate
* Scan & Pack work stations including being able to conduct product changeovers and follow packing work instructions.
- Become qualified to operate Safe Launch packing station.
- Assure cleanliness of parts and work area. Clean station at scheduled PM and additionally as needed.
- Must be aware of scrap and rework cost.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED;
- Intermediate computer skills (SAP-DP1, E-Pull, and *Windows, hand held scanners, etc.);
- Ability to work in cooperation with multiple team members;
- Demonstrated ability to multitask;
- Demonstrated ability to support a very fast paced environment with a lot of heavy lifting;
- Ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English.
- Ability to lift on a repetitive basis 35lbs and 50lbs on an occasional basis
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. (We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future).
Schedule: Monday-Friday (Required Overtime if needed)
Shift: 2nd Shift (3PM-11PM)
Pay: Starting pay 12/hr. After 2 weeks of training, rate increase to $12.40/hr. (PAID WEEKLY)
