Our client, an innovative digital marketing and production solutions agency is looking to hire a VP, Digital to their team.
Position Overview :
The VP, Digital candidate must have an entrepreneurial spirit and an ownership mindset, driving digital growth for both clients and the agency. This person will be a visionary leader, responsible for developing and expanding digital marketing strategies while building strong client relationships. This role requires someone who is a proven leader, highly skilled in client-facing meetings, and deeply knowledgeable in digital marketing—so much so that they can sell and expand digital opportunities with ease. The VP, Digital will play a pivotal role in shaping digital capabilities, leading high-level digital strategy, and ensuring seamless execution across all projects. Along with a strong entrepreneurial drive, the ideal candidate will be proactively seeking new opportunities, identifying areas for growth, and implementing strategic digital solutions that elevate client success.
This position reports to the CEO and collaborates closely with the VP, Client Services and other Leadership Team members, as well as internal teams across Creative, Project Management, and Production.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement high-level digital strategies across social media, mobile, email, paid media, SEO, and emerging digital trends to drive client success and business growth.
- Collaborate with clients, internal teams, and vendors to deliver best-in-class digital solutions.
- Lead client relationships with confidence and expertise, positioning the agency as a strategic digital partner.
- Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts, driving digital revenue expansion.
- Work with Account team to prepare regular reports and presentations for clients and internal purposes, summarizing project status, key metrics, and performance insights.
- Own the room in client-facing meetings, ensuring digital recommendations are compelling, strategic, and clearly aligned with business goals.
- Stay ahead of industry trends (SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing, automation) to proactively bring innovative ideas to clients and the agency.
- Ensure digital programs run smoothly from strategy to execution, keeping projects on time, on budget, and exceeding quality expectations.
- Proactively support and drive new business opportunities by contributing to pitches, RFP responses, and digital marketing proposals.
- Build and mentor a high-performing digital team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Analyze data and campaign performance, leveraging insights to optimize and refine digital initiatives for maximum impact.
- Partner with the CFO and CEO to manage digital spend, ensuring cost efficiency and maximum ROI for agency and clients.
