Data Analyst – ETL, Extract Transform Load, Data Cleansing, Data Quality, Data Manipulation, Excel, Data Administrator, Data Administration, Data Steward, Business Analyst, Data Insights, Data Validation – Contract – W2 – C2C - $30 ph
Our end user client are seeking a Data Analyst to work on their ongoing transformation program. The role will be responsible for ETL processes and contributing to data quality assurance.
The role will typically involve 2-3 days per week on-site in Cincinnati, so candidates must be locally based. C2C and W2 are available.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Finance, Statistics, Data Science) or a minimum of 2 years in data analysis, with a strong focus on ETL processes and data cleansing; prior experience with ERP products is beneficial but not required.
- Proficient in advanced Excel capabilities and data manipulation; experience with data integration tools and databases is a plus.
- Strong analytical reasoning skills to identify data issues, validate accuracy, and recommend effective solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, with the ability to present complex data insights clearly to diverse audiences.
- A flexible and enthusiastic approach, capable of working collaboratively within immediate teams and across the organization.
- Ability to translate complex data processes for both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Transformation Managers and Business Unit Finance and Operations teams to execute ETL tasks across multiple legal entities, facilitating a seamless implementation of the new ERP solution.
- Support data validation efforts, focusing on cleansing and maintaining high data quality standards throughout each rollout phase.
- Assist in user acceptance and regression testing to ensure data integrity and functionality post-implementation.
- Foster strong relationships with users, facilitating change management initiatives by addressing differences in data processes at the lab level.
- Provide first-line hypercare support during go-lives, troubleshooting data-related issues and assisting colleagues as needed
- Assist in the implementation and execution of standard operating procedures for data management across finance and accounting processes.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive audit files related to data during the migration process.
- Develop performance monitoring tools and reports to track data quality metrics and provide insights to stakeholders.
Location: US Hybrid – Cincinnati, Ohio
