Program Statement:
Catholic Charities, Lake County provides an array of services including, outpatient mental health and substance use disorder treatment; a program that supports children & their caregivers who are impacted by the incarceration of a parent; a youth employment program, Help Me Grow; and Hispanic outreach. As a therapist in the outpatient mental health program:
What you will do:
- Work with clients to achieve their goals
- Conduct assessments on assigned cases and determine diagnosis
- Complete treatment plans and discharge summaries on assigned
- Provide individual and family counseling
- May provide group counseling sessions
