Position: Resource Coordinator (TEMPORARY)
Salary: $19.25/Hr.
Location: Stockton
Catholic Charities of Stockton seeks a Resource Coordinator for the Disaster Case Management Program. This is a Full-time, temporary position. The Resource Coordinator is responsible for conducting outreach and obtaining information about services and goods that may be provided by local non-profits, government agencies, foundations, etc. that may be needed to assist clients back to pre-disaster self-sufficiency; responsible for maintaining service lists as required specific to counties of jurisdiction that case managers can refer clients to for assistance and coordinate with local partners as needed.
REQUIRED:
· Ability to communicate (speak and write) in English and Spanish required.
· At least two years of experience working in the community
· Reliable transportation ability to travel throughout San Joaquin and Calaveras County
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
· Minimum 3 years of professional experience.
· Previous experience in disaster recovery or resource coordinator preferred.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
· Individual must possess the ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
· Knowledge of social service delivery systems
· Knowledge of local County and City resources
· Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and managerial skills.
· Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to produce results without extensive supervision.
· Ability to prioritize and handle multiple complex tasks.
· Ability to convene and lead meetings.
· Existing knowledge of state, county, and local community-based agencies servicing disaster survivors is highly preferred.
· Existing knowledge and understanding of Disaster Case Management requirements and case planning.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office
