General Description
The Senior Development Coordinator, under the supervision of the Associate Director of Development, will successfully strengthen donor relationships and giving for entry to mid-level donors. Looking for an outgoing candidate with high attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. You should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously while still meeting deadlines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Manage a portfolio of entry to mid-level donors who are new, reactivated and recurring donors.
· Create a strategy to cultivate and steward current donors to retain and encourage repeat and increased giving year-over-year. Methods may include in-person, phone calls, emails, handwritten notes and events.
· Maintain accurate, timely and thorough records, actions, contacts, correspondence and background data for portfolio donors and prospects in Raiser’s Edge fundraising database system.
· Participate in department-wide stewardship efforts of current and potential donors.
· Working with Associate Director of Development, create a strategy to cultivate and steward potential donors.
· Monitors and pursues all fundraising timelines and goals.
· Actively pursues development of professional competencies related to job performance through reading, supervision, in-service training and attendance at conferences and workshops.
· Represents CCFCS at internal and external events as needed.
· Participate in department run events, meetings and trainings, as appropriate.
· Participate in relevant Agency meetings and/or trainings.
· Awareness and active support of the Agency's Mission, Vision, Values and Strategic Plan. Including, but not limited to, supporting the Agency's Core Competency initiatives of being Collaborative and Community Focused, Innovative and Entrepreneurial, and Culturally Competent and Diverse.
· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.
Experience: At least 4 years minimum experience in non-profit fund development or related field. Experience in marketing, fundraising and/or customer service is a plus. Experience with Raiser’s Edge database a plus.
A combination of experience and education may be substituted at the discretion of the Associate Director of Development.
