Key Responsibilities
- Program Supervision
- Provide problem-resolution support to staff.
- Approve admissions and verify eligibility for PSH participants.
- Maintain comprehensive participant records and address client concerns.
- Advocate for participants and provide necessary referrals and crisis interventions.
- Maintain SSI/SSDI Outreach, Access, and Recovery (SOAR) certification.
- Manage a caseload of up to 10 clients.
- Housing Placement
- Assist with housing and re-housing searches, placement, and leasing guidance.
- Negotiate with landlords and provide support for client transitions.
- Operational Leadership
- Recruit, train, and evaluate PSH staff based on core values.
- Plan staff development training and ensure timely report submissions.
- Oversee supply orders and approve purchase requests.
- Lead and manage the team using the EOS process with regular meetings.
- Other Responsibilities
- Participate in mandatory training and adhere to directives from the Division Director.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field (MSW preferred).
- Experience:
- 2 years as a mental health professional.
- Proven experience with housing programs and homelessness services.
- Strong problem resolution and de-escalation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication and computer skills.
- Requirements:
- Valid Louisiana driver's license and insured vehicle for client transport.
