STATEMENT OF THE JOB :
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, general ledger accountability, and financial reporting, as well as other special projects as assigned. While reporting to the Controller the position works closely with a variety of internal departments and non-accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions. The Accounting Manager must be a diligent, self-motivated individual with a keen attention to detail.
- Maintain accounting systems to ensure GAAP compliance, financial reporting, performance reporting, and financial viability.
- Compilation of data, for fiscal reports, including monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements.
- Assist with the production of departmental fiscal management reports to Administration, and Department Directors.
- Interface with the external auditors and assist in the audit process as assigned.
- Reconcile and or review all financial information. Including but not limited to cash, AR, Prepaid Expenses, Fixed Assets, AP, Accruals, Advances, Revenue, Expenses and related costs.
- Review banking transactions and maintaining of cash flow reports on a daily basis.
- Interfacing with outside billing company when necessary.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of Annual Operating Budgets.
- Assist with the preparation of the 990 and cost report
