Position Summary :

Manage the day to day housekeeping of the Agency's facilities and buildings to ensure optimal appearance and function of the Agencies properties.

Essential Responsibilities :

Oversee cleaning needs of the Agency's properties.
Order and maintain supplies, merchandise and materials for housekeeping purposes. Maintain accurate inventory records.
Interview, hire, train, schedule, counsel, discipline and evaluate staff.
Ensure staff levels are appropriate for days and hours of operation.
Complete all related paperwork and reports in an accurate and timely manner.
Payroll preparation and editing for accuracy and wage and hour compliance.
Conduct regular staff meetings.
Other related duties as directed and deemed appropriate to position.
Protect all confidential information, company property and electronic data. Comply with safety rules.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

Possess excellent communication, written and management skills.

Working knowledge of building and property housekeeping procedures, equipment and products.

Sound judgment to work autonomously.

Prioritize work and meet necessary deadlines.

Flexible schedule to work after hours and weekends.

Knowledge of all Agency policies, including safety.

Proficiency in computers and software including Microsoft Office.

Bilingual in Spanish preferred, but not required.

Qualifications :

High School or equivalent education.

Minimum of five years of work experience in housekeeping.

Minimum of two years of management or leadership experience.

Flexible schedule to work after hours and weekends, as necessary.

Must be 25 years old, a valid Driver's License with current minimum Nevada state required auto insurance.

Physical Requirements

Ability to continuously sit and / or stand. Ability to climb stairs as needed. Ability to climb ladders if needed.

On occasion will lift up to 75 pounds. Also may have to push / pull carts up to 100 pounds.

Ability to work in environmental factors that include extreme heat and cold, dirt or dust. Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
